Hottie Tea Toddy

Give this holiday classic an herbal spin with this recipe from mixologist Veronica Gild.

There’s nothing quite like a hot beverage around the holidays: they’re cozy and comforting with flavors you look forward to all year long. We’ve already shown you how to make our Old City Hot Toddy for those chilly days in Florida, but this Hottie Tea Toddy puts a spin on the classic by adding tea to our Florida Straight Bourbon, hot water, honey, lemon, and cinnamon!

Not sure which tea to use for this recipe?

There are plenty of options based on your flavor and caffeine preferences:

Black Tea – Choose a blend like Earl Grey or English Breakfast Tea for a bold and caffeinated tea flavor.

Rooibos – This naturally caffeine-free tea boasts a slightly sweet and nutty flavor that will perfectly complement your hot toddy.

Ginger – The warm, spicy flavor of ginger tea will pair perfectly with your hot toddy while alleviating upset stomachs and wintertime sniffles.

Lemongrass – The bright and citrusy flavor pairs perfectly with the lemon while providing contrast to the warm spice of the cinnamon

“Christmas Blend” - Choose some festive tea to get into the holiday spirit!
